Backend Readiness
Review ConvertA2Z backend readiness for advanced PDF, OCR, media, compression, and AI tools.
Last updated: 2026-05-31
ConvertA2Z currently ships common workflows as browser-first tools. Advanced tools such as PDF to Word, OCR, heavy PDF compression, audio/video conversion, and AI features need controlled backend infrastructure before public launch.
Ready now
- Static browser tools for image, PDF, text, developer, calculator, web, and data workflows.
- Security headers, HTTPS, public trust information, and file-safety notices.
- Metadata-driven generation for tools, categories, sitemap, and structured data.
Backend requirements before advanced tools
- Temporary upload storage with automatic deletion.
- Strict file size, file type, rate limit, and abuse controls.
- Conversion engines for PDF, OCR, audio/video, and document formats.
- Clear privacy notices and logs that avoid storing sensitive file contents unnecessarily.
- API keys and budget controls before AI tools are enabled.
Tools intentionally not public yet
PDF to Word, OCR, heavy compression, audio/video conversion, and AI tools are not published as working tool pages until the backend stack is fully tested. This avoids fake tools, broken workflows, and unsafe uploads.
